Performing Arts

Abdoul Mujyambere Is rwandan born choreographer and performing artist with two diplomas; a B.A in arts and Language from the National University of Rwanda and a three years diploma in contemporary dance and african traditional dance techniques from the renown Ecole des Sables of Germaine Accogny under the direction of his son Patrick Accogny (2015-2017). Abdoul Mujyambere also holds different international certificates from PARTS and JANTIBI for a series of intensive dance and art philosophy trainings he concluded from 2016 and 2020 respectively. And last but not the least he holds a certificate of honor in theater from Shakespeare and Co ,a theater institution from Massachusetts in United states of America specializing in the art of Shakespeare theater.

PERFORMING ART CAREER

Abdoul mujyambere started his performing art career at the national university of Rwanda in 2010 in "Inshoza Dance Company" which is a students company founded by Totto Niwenshuti in 2008. In 2011 he got selected in other various Kigali based art companies such us Amizero Dance K' by Wesley Ruzibiza then Ishyo Arts Center by Carole Karemera and later on in Mashirika Arts and Media Company by Hope Azeda. With these three companies Abdoul mujyambere worked on several different performing art projects in different regional and international art festivals in Burundi, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Sri Lanka, India, France and Belgium being the latest (2019).

Abdoul Mujyambere Work

Besides local and international collaborations abdoul Mujyambere is making his own work in performing arts and visual arts since 2014.His main themes are beauty,identity,body and memories.
